Ram Jayam -  President & CEO
Prior to founding Apere, Ram has founded and ran Platys communications a leader in IP storage solutions. Platys was acquired by Adaptec in 2001 for $150M. As Vice President and General Manager at Adaptec he managed $240M/year channel and OEM business. Ram also founded and ran Stargate Solutions a leader in Intellectual Property Licensing for Network Processors and Gigabit Ethernet. Ram, a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Computer Engineering, has several patents. Ram is a recognized authority in the technology field, and continues to be an active participant in media discussions and a frequent speaker at industry conferences

 

Srini V Gargeya -  Vice President of Technical Marketing
Srini V. Gargeya is a co-founder and the VP of Technical Marketing at Apere Inc. Prior to joining Apere, Srini was Director of Technical Marketing at Adaptec, where he was responsible for defining product architecture and program management for key OEM’ s including Hitachi, Sun, and Network Appliance. Srini was also responsible for building and managing Adaptec’s India Operations.

 

Anil Kapatkar -  Vice President of Engineering
Anil Kapatkar is a co-founder of Apere and is the Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for architecting and implementing all Apere products. Anil Kapatkar has had a long and successful career delivering high performance communication, networking and mass storage solutions. Most recently, he was Director of Engineering at Adaptec, where he led the engineering team in the development of successful solutions in the IP Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) segments. He was a co-founder of Platys Communications, where he led the engineering team in delivering the industry’s first complete TCP offload solution at gigabit speeds. He was also instrumental in the acquisition of the company by Adaptec in 2001. Before Platys, Anil was a co-founder and VP of Engineering at Stargate Solution, a leading semiconductor IP provider.

 

Sri Tirumala -  Chief Technology Officer
Sri Tirumala is a co-founder at Apere, and as Chief Technology Officer offers invaluable technology and product direction to the company. Before joining Apere, Sri was Director of Technical Marketing at Adaptec, where he was responsible for defining and delivering product architecture for key OEMs including Hitachi, Sun, and Network Appliance. In addition, Sri was also Director of Engineering at Adaptec leading the development of next generation IPSAN ASICs.

 

Ruby S Simhadri -  General Manager of Research & Development
Ruby has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry helping both small and large organizations bring niche and leading edge products to market. Prior to joining Apere, he worked at Sybase and Fujitsu, among other companies. As Chief Architect at Fujitsu, he brought pioneering workflow, Business Process Management and B2B products to the market. At Apere, he manages the company’s India operations including product design, development and support.
